Week 9: The Storyteller

Odysseus joined the crowd outside the palace in their celebration.  Among the voices, he told his tale to the celebrating crowd. As the voices yelled and cheered, he told of his capture by Calypso and Circe, and how the wind carried him to Smaros where he destroyed a city.  As the people laughed and gasped, he told how Zeus sent strong winds to send him off course and punish him for his actions. As the celebration continued, he told of his meeting with the lotus-eaters, and his battle with Polyphemus, the Cyclops.   While the city celebrated around him, he told all that would listen his tale, the good and the bad, his actions, and their consequences. He told all around him that there is nothing sweeter than home and Kindred.

Working Method:  Auditory Confusion

Today’s working requires only listening.  Using auditory confusion, try to find the story that you are intended to hear.
